The Motorola Defy leaves the rest of the pack behind thanks to its excellent display quality and scratch resistance gorilla glass. Good speedy processor. The Defy is the best motorola smart phone ranked after milestone.
The Defy is built to take it all without breaking or shutting down. It is waterproof up to 1 meter for 30 min, dust and scratch resistant and meets or exceeds IP67 standards for Water and Dust. And this is just the exterior of the Defy. The entire shell is water-tight, with rubber port flaps for every interface.
Defy Powered by a 800 MHz Cortex A8 processor and Android 2.1 OS, the Defy supports the other usual features like WLAN (802.11b/g/n), Bluetooth (v2.1with EDR), and AGPS. Smartphone features like corporate/personal email using 3G/EDGE technology, Social networking, Browser (Webkit), and 3.5 mm audio jack make the Defy desirable. The video capable 5MP camera with LED/supercap Flash and Digital Zoom(with MPEG-4 format play and stream), is supported by 1.25 GB internal memory, and comes with 2GB MicroSD card, upgradable upto 32GB. These features come with the power supply of a 1540 mAh battery.
the Pinch and Zoom feature with two-finger rotate and double-tap-to-enlarge features make this different from other smart phone. It can connect up to 5 devices on a wireless 3G hotspot created by it. It got a good sensor to improve the user’s experience. put the phone face down to change the Alert type to vibratory mode automatically, or double tap the phone and the ringer is silenced on an incoming call.
Conclusion: The Motorola DEFY is selling for Rs. 18,100 at online stores. It wouldn’t be the top pricing, especially since you’re getting a really sturdy phone with a fair amount of features. Android 2.2 update is missing in DEFY, which is speculated to be released in the second quarter of this year. If you’re looking for a good mid-range Android with water proof then go for DEFY is your only good choice.
